MINI PERSPECTIVES

Mini Perspectives marks a meaningful and challenging departure from my usual path. I am often recognised for my nature landscapes, where I find calm, solitude and a sense of escape. In this body of small works, I turn my attention towards the city, exploring a very different rhythm and energy. Working on Malaysian cityscapes pushed me to observe the intricacy of façades, the groan of engines, people hustling through narrow lanes and the play of dramatic light and shadow.

The mini format allowed me to approach the city in a more intimate way, distilling it into simpler shapes while preserving the energy of each moment. This series is both a study and a discovery, enabling me to unlock a different facet of myself, one shaped not only by nature’s serenity but also by the pulse of urban life.
