ABOUT ME

Born in 1980 in the quaint town of Taiping, I pursued my tertiary education at Limkokwing University, majoring in Advertising. I spent most of my formative years in Klang after my parents relocated there in 1985. In the early years, painting is something I did not partake so often compared to now. In recent years, my relentless pursuit of fine art has become one of my greatest sources of joy, although it's also a regretful reminder of a dream I set aside for over 16 years.

It all begins with a deep-rooted interest. I find watercolour as truly magical – beautifully unpredictable and yet so simple. This medium faultlessly reflects so much about me. In the delicate strokes and ethereal washes of watercolour, I find my voice as an artist. My work is an exploration of the beauty that surrounds us, capturing the essence of nature's landscapes and the poetry of urban scenes.

My choice of watercolour as a medium allows me to convey the subtle and intricate details of the world, infusing each piece with a sense of serenity. Watercolour's transparency and fluidity mirror the gentle rhythms of life itself, where every layer adds depth and meaning, much like the layers of experience that shape our existence.

Nature, with its awe-inspiring vistas and the intricate dance of light and shadow, provides me with endless inspiration. The landscapes I paint are more than mere scenery; they are expressions of the serenity I find in the natural world, reminding us to slow down, breathe deeply, and appreciate the simplicity that nature offers.
