My relationship with Winsor & Newton began more than three decades ago, when I first discovered their Cotman range through The Art of Drawing & Painting. At the time, watercolour was simply the medium I was learning to understand. Over the years, it has become an important part of my artistic practice.

Today, I work primarily with Winsor & Newton Professional Water Colour, drawn to its transparency, luminosity and the clarity it allows me to achieve through colour mixing.

Our collaboration grew naturally from this long relationship with the medium. Through demonstrations, workshops and creative projects, I have had the opportunity to share my approach to watercolour and the way I work with colour, atmosphere and mood. This collaboration is not simply about materials. It is about the continuing conversation between artist, pigment and paper, and the possibilities that emerge through the process of painting.
